From acclaimed filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson comes a powerful new drama starring Academy Award and BAFTA winner Leonardo DiCaprio, alongside Benicio del Toro, Sean Penn, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, Chase Infiniti, Wood Harris and Alana Haim. Anderson directs from his own screenplay, with music by Jonny Greenwood.

Inspired by the 1990 novel Vineland by Thomas Pynchon.  Washed-up revolutionary Bob exists in a state of stoned paranoia, surviving off-grid with his spirited, self-reliant daughter, Willa. When his evil nemesis resurfaces after 16 years and she goes missing, the former radical scrambles to find her, father and daughter both battling the consequences of his past.

One Battle After Another received widespread critical acclaim and numerous accolades. It received thirteen nominations at the 98th Academy Awards and won six Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor (Penn), and Best Casting, becoming the inaugural recipient for the latter. It also received one win from a record seven nominations at the 32nd Actor Awards, three wins at the 31st Critics' Choice Awards, including Best Picture, four wins at the 83rd Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and six wins at the 79th British Academy Film Awards, including Best Film. The film was also listed by the American Film Institute as one of the top ten films of 2025 and won five awards from the National Board of Review, including Best Film.
