Semolina Pilchard at Lucem House

Local film maker Mike Clark hosted two sold out performances of his new film 'Semolina Pilchard' at Lucem House Community Cinema Plus + on Sunday 3rd May.

Starring a host of well known actors from film and television it tells the story of a terminally ill Liverpool gangster who summons his estranged eldest daughter back to their hometown after a five year abscence, his youngest daughter, determined to inherit everything, plots to eliminate her.

There followed a Q&A session after both performances, with Director Mike leading the way.

Huge thanks to Mike and his cast for allowing his film to be shown at Lucem with all box office takings going directly to our volunteer run community cinema.
